Cousins

Emery has met all of her cousins now.  Cruz and Jett came over to see her and they were so sweet!  Cruz wanted to hold her the whole time!

Emery's Birthday

On May 16th I went to Norman Regional Hospital for an induction at 6:30am.  I was so excited the night before that I only got a few hours of sleep!  Once things got started it was pretty much just a waiting game.  Luckily we had plenty of visitors to keep us company while we waited.  Both of our moms were there, our sisters and later in the day Chief came up too.  The girls had stayed the night with Grandpa the night before and he brought them up to the hospital around 1:30 so they would be there right after she was born.

At 3:21pm Emery was born.  

She had a full head of beautiful dark hair, 10 fingers, 10 toes and a sweet little cry that I was so happy to hear!

She weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz and was 19 3/4 in long

Daddy took Emery up to the nursery for her very first bath.

We are absolutely in love with her.

Daddy's Birthday

Ryan took off work to spend the day with us on his birthday/our last day as a family of four.  We packed up and went to the zoo since it was such a nice day.  I love these girls so much!  And their daddy too.  :)

Mother's Day

On Sunday morning, after I slept in until 9:00, I got up to find some really sweet Mother's Day cards, a bowl of cereal for breakfast and some wine from Ryan (for after the baby is born when I can have wine again!)

We spent some time with the family at my mom's house and then had dinner with the Blackburn/Campbell crew that night.

It was a great day!

Last Day of School

The girls had their last day of school on Thursday and they always do a Spring Program on the last day.  This year, Hailey, Reagan, AND Gavin were in it!  They were all so cute!

Then we went to their classrooms to have cookies and punch and to say goodbye to their teachers and classmates.

Sunday

Today we went out to Lake Hefner to have a picnic and to let the girls play.  They have a really fun playground there but unfortunately it was closed due to construction so we settled for the picnic and a little walk by the lake instead.  

 On the way home we grabbed some ice cream and ate it on the back patio while Daddy blew up the water slide. It was a perfect day to be outside!
